Pompton Plains, N.J. — June 23, 2013 — Zaxcom today announced NeverClip™ added to certain models in their line of Digital Recording Wireless and ZFR Recorder line. NeverClip™ is a patent pending feature that utilizes two analog to digital converters per transmitter or recorder to generate 123dB of dynamic range. This new feature is standard on their ZFR200 & ZFR300 miniature audio recorders and is available as an option on their TRX900LT and TRX900LA digital recording wireless transmitters.
“NeverClip™ is a feature we’re very proud of because it allows our customers to have an extra 20dB of dynamic range over what they’re used to,” said Glenn Sanders, Zaxcom president. “This means whether the talent is whispering or screaming there won’t be any clipping or distortion, so the mixer won’t have to scramble to adjust levels during a scene.”
NeverClip™ can now be found on many of Zaxcom’s products including the Nomad and Maxx mixer / recorders and the TRX742 transmitter for boom.
