Production Ready
From live performances and broadcasts to podcasts, gaming, and weddings, ZMT5-HH supports it all. Use it wirelessly, wired, or both simultaneously. The balanced analog mic level output provides a direct wired connection, while the wireless transmission can serve as a backup. Either signal can feed another device.
Interchangeable Capsules
ZMT5-HH supports Shure compatible mic capsules with a 1.25-inch opening and 28-thread pitch.
Custom Setup
The dynamics system combines a soft-knee compressor and expander that work together to control dynamic range and help prevent clipping. Adjustable compression ranges from mild to extreme, while the soft-knee helps maintain a natural, transparent sound.
Integrated Timecode
Receive timecode over ZaxNet’s 2.4 GHz signal. A Mute Till Jam option keeps timecode output off until the internal generator is jammed, preventing incorrect timecode from being sent to other devices. An Auto Jam option automatically starts and stops recording based on incoming timecode.
Audio. Secure, Backed Up
A fully encrypted digital transmission prevents eavesdropping, while audio can be simultaneously transmitted and recorded to an internal memory card. MARF recordings eliminate file corruption during power loss or accidental card removal.
ZaxNet. Remote & Quality Control
Control settings remotely with ZRC or any ZaxNet device. Change frequencies, power settings, input gain, start/stop recording, manage timecode, and format cards without touching the transmitter. Send quality control audio over ZaxNet and monitor it on the spot with an ERX.
ZHD. Unlock More Channels
ZHD expands RF channel capacity, providing more wireless channels within the same 1 MHz of spectrum. Mono, Stereo, XR, ZHD48, and ZHD96 modes offer flexible configurations for the demands of any production, even in the most congested RF environments.
Workflow Friendly
Its lightweight metal body is comfortable to hold all day, with an ergonomic design that protects the XLR connector, prevents accidental button presses, and conceals the antenna. Customize the mute switch for push to talk, push to mute, or toggle between mute and unmute. A single 18650 lithium battery provides runtime up to 10 hours.

Yes. Internal recording is available through microSD. We recommend using 4GB memory cards from either Transcend or SanDisk through a reputable dealer.
