The Highlights
TRXFB3 combines a transmitter and IFB receiver in one device. It sends audio and timecode over UHF and receives IFB audio over ZaxNet’s 2.4 GHz signal simultaneously. TRXFB3 combines encrypted audio, timecode, internal recording, remote control, quality control audio, and flexible transmission modes – all powered by two AA batteries.

Replay audio against a timecode reference to remix, re-record, and build a virtual multi-track playback system.
Integrated Timecode
TRXCL5 can receive timecode through BNC or over ZaxNet’s 2.4 GHz signal. A Mute Till Jam option keeps timecode output off until the internal generator is jammed, preventing incorrect timecode from being sent to other devices. An Auto Jam option automatically starts and stops recording based on incoming timecode.
Audio. Secure, Backed Up
A fully encrypted digital transmission prevents eavesdropping, while audio can be simultaneously transmitted and recorded to an internal memory card. MARF recordings eliminate file corruption during power loss or accidental card removal.
ZaxNet. Remote & Quality Control
Control settings remotely with ZRC or any ZaxNet device. Change frequencies, power settings, input gain, start/stop recording, manage timecode, and format cards without touching the transmitter. Send quality control audio over ZaxNet and monitor it on the spot with an ERX.
NeverClip. Greater Detail, Less Distortion
Capture loud sounds with less risk of clipping. NeverClip extends dynamic range to provide more headroom when sound levels rise. No need to ride the gain. Think 32-bit float freedom without the 32-bit float workflow.
ZHD. Unlock More Channels
ZHD expands RF channel capacity, providing more wireless channels within the same 1 MHz of spectrum. Mono, Stereo, XR, ZHD48, and ZHD96 modes offer flexible configurations for the demands of any production, even in the most congested RF environments.
PowerRoll. Battery Life, Extended
PowerRoll conserves battery life by automatically reducing transmission power when idle and increasing it when triggered to record.
Workflow Friendly
Control commutation with a programmable button for push to mute or push to talk. A 3-pin micro LEMO connector supports 3.3V mics, while a 3.5 mm jack connects an earpiece. The lightweight, durable housing is made for demanding production environments. Two AA lithium batteries deliver up to 7 hours of runtime.
