--------------------------- Deva24 Release Notes ----------------------------
To install the Deva24 firmware, copy a Deva24Progfile_vxxxx.bin file to CF card
and insert into the CF1 slot. After it mounts, press SHIFT-F5 on the Deva's
front panel. It should say "Distributing Data" and after a few minutes it should
say "Restart in 5 seconds". Since the Popup window might not be perfectly
synchronized among all DSP processors it is best to wait a few seconds
to make sure all processors are really done burning their ROM.

---------------------------- Version History --------------------------------
Zaxconvert versions 6.38 and higher are compatible with deva24

WARNING Do not use any version between 2.57 and 2.73.
There can be a clicking sound when mirroring

	*** OASIS/MIX16 firmware v3.24 ***
Oasis/Mix16 firmware version 3.24 or higher is required if you want to use the DEVA24 GUI application or the RX12.
To burn it into the Oasis/Mix16, turn off any RX12s you have and press SHIFT_F3.
The firmware burning progress should be noted on the screen and via an LED on the Oasis/Mix16.
Walk away for 3 minutes and be sure to not turn off the Oasis/Mix16 until the LED stops blinking.
You can see the Oasis version by observing which BANK keys blink when powering on the Oasis/Mix16.

3.15 Aug 7
re-arranged buttons in ZNET Remote Commands menu

3.14 Aug 6 2019
Added "0dB FS" to tone level menu
Fixed some zaxnet commands not being sent out the timecode port (was only sent via the built in ZAXNET module)

Added buttons to "zaxnet power commands" menu to send commands to all transmitters at once.
(especially older transmitters that do not know about individual power down commands)

'CHOOSE|TX ID' Indicates the unit ID code that the "Individual" buttons will transmit commands to
'SEND|STANDBY|Individual' Send STANDBY to a modern transmitter (will reboot itself into super low power standby mode
'SEND|WAKE UP|Individual' Wake up a modern transmitter that has booted up into standby mode

'NORMAL|PWR ON|MODE' Transmits the default, normal mode which is "POWER ON" to wake up devices that are
in sleep mode (LOW2). Transmitters that are already awake will ignore this command

'SEND|SLEEP|ALL' Send SLEEP cmd to all transmitters (LOW2)
'SEND|WAKE UP|ALL' Send wake up cmd to all transmitters that are in standby mode

BE AWARE that when you press the SEND WAKUP ALL button it will continuously send that
command which means	you cannot put a single transmitter into STANDBY mode unless you press
the NORMAL PWR ON MODE button to stop sending the standby commands. So when mixing
old transmitters(v9.88) with new transmitters (v2.89) there may be some limitations
if you want to wake up a single transmitter while old transmitters are sleeping.
If old transmitters are in STANDBY then this should not be a problem since a "NORMAL POWER ON"
command will not wake up any transmitter in standby (deep sleep).

Please test these modes when your transmitters are all on a table so you can
get a feel for how they interact with these new power commands.

WARNING: Do not use LOW POWER IFB MODE in your transmitters. It may cause intermittent Zaxnet reception.
If you are running v2.90 you will not see this menu and it will be forced ON all the time
in which case you need to downgrade to 2.89 or upgrade to 2.94.

3.05 May 20 2019 *** DO NOT USE ***
Added support for remote power down of individual transmitters.

To power down a transmitter press INPUTS(F5), choose an input associated with the transmitter that you want to
power down. Then press ZNET(F1). This will display a new page with 4 buttons.
Press SEND_WAKE_UP to send a WAKE UP command
Press SEND_STANDBY to send a STANDBY command (unit will reboot into STANDBY mode which draws about 25% power)
Press SEND_SLEEP_LOW2 to send a LOW2 command (unit will go into LOW2 mode which draws about 50% power)

This feature requires version 2.88 or higher in the body pack transmitter (does not work with units
that cannot accept this firmware like the LA2).
This Feature should also work when using an IFB100 or IFB200 connected to the TC out of the Deva24

Currently the IFB200 cannot send these new commands from its front panel.

fixed problem when changing Zaxnet TransportControl mode
(could not always go into record on transmitter manually after turning off TransportControl mode on Deva)

2.95D Jan 15 (f=off)
Fixed "DONT EDIT NEXT SEG" feature not working with some STN buttons.
Added "ALLOW EXTERNAL KEYBOARD" (defaults to off) to ignore garbage data that
may enter the DB9 serial port if no keyboard is plugged in (which may effect stability).

2.95A Dec 21 (f=off)
Removed some extra debug info that could cause problems.
2.95 Dec 21
Added "DONT EDIT NEXT SEG" button to User Interface menu
Turning this on will make Deva (when in STOP) edit the last seg
instead of the Next seg when pressing the Scene Take Note buttons
to prevent some people from editing the wrong segment.

When using Audition/ReRecord, if you enter a timecode manually Deva
will now accept the timecode even if there is no segment matching
that timecode in the current folder. It assumes the userbits
of the TC PLAYBACK generator are set to match the transmitter
body packs which should be the case if you recently cued to or
recorded a segment that has the proper user bits in it.

2.94 Dec 13
	re-enabled external keyboard support

2.93 Dec 12 (contains IFB MODULE firmware v018)
Fixed problem with programming IFB module firmware (was sending data too fast)

Added support for GPOUT (pin 2 on the DB9). This is an open collector output so it
pulls down when in RECORD. This should work when driving an external device that
	has a pullup resistor to 3.3V, 5V or 12V.
	https://www.electronics-tutorials.ws/blog/relay-switch-circuit.html
Pin 7 of the DB9 has 5 Volts on it so it could be used to power the
other side of the relay coil. If it is a mechanical relay (with a coil)
a Fly-Back diode should be placed across the relay coil to prevent damage
to the transistor inside the Deva24.

Added some protection in case random data was inserted into the external
serial ports which could theoretically cause a Main processor crash.

2.91 Dec 8 (this version might not burn IFB firmware properly)
Added IFB module version 018 which fixes user bits byte-swap problem (which can make audition not work)
If you don't want to upgrade your main Deva24 firmware but you want to fix the user bits being
sent backwards to your body packs, you can install this version, update the IFB module
(press the ZNET button to get to the Zaxnet page) and then re-install your old deva version.

2.89 Nov 28
prevented mix16 input meters 9-16 from randomly disappearing
fixed inputs D17-D24 (they were always muted when assigned to a fader)
